Where are you housing the files you share with your members?
How are you protecting those files?
It is very common to want to share various files (audio, PDFs, etc.) with members. But it is also likely that you do not want those files to be passed around to people outside of your community.
You need to decide if you want to store and protect files on your WishList Member/WordPress site or if you want to store them somewhere else.
Find out which option is best for you and what you need to consider when making the decision.
If a Member is not logged in and they try to access a protected section of your membership site they will be directed to the Non-Member page.
That is how WishList Member was developed to function.
But do you know what happens if you place a login form on your Non-Member page?
The simple act of including a login form on a Non-Member page makes a big difference. If someone was trying to access a protected piece of content and was directed to the Non-Members page, they can easily fill out the provided login form and will then be redirected back to the original piece of content they were trying to access.
This is a very useful way to direct members to the content you want them to see through links provided in emails.
Check out this thread for all the details.
What should you do if you want to offer one-on-one coaching to your members?
How would you set that up with WishList Member?
If you have ever thought about providing your members with in depth coaching that is specific to their needs then we recommend checking out this conversation.
There are differences between providing a membership for a group of members and providing a membership for individuals.
