In this bonus, you’ll learn how to set up WishList Member to create a modular course membership site.
A popular content delivery system for membership sites is the topic of conversation in this edition of Forum Focus.
We’ve all experienced this teaching method in some form or another.
It may have been years ago as a kid back in middle school or as recent as the other day on a web site.
We are talking about courses.
But in this case, more specifically learning through courses online.
Are you taking advantage of online courses with your membership site?
How long has your WishList Member site been live?
Whether it is a brand new community or it has been active for some time now, you always have the opportunity to start a new course.
Yep, no matter which style of membership you already have up and running, you can still add a training course at any time.
Creating and setting up a new course may seem a bit daunting, but this can actually be a pretty easy process.
Let’s take a closer look…
As far as your members are concerned, the main purpose of your membership site is to solve their problems and address their needs.
While it is true that you may be using your site as a marketing tool and/or to earn a living, it’s important to understand how your members view the community. Most members sign up because they believe you can solve those problems they are dealing with.
This is similar to someone browsing in a book store.
Keep reading for more details.
A “How-To” book and a membership course share the same basic function.
Both are an example of products that teach the consumer (readers or members) how to solve their problems. The main difference is in the packaging.
Due to their similarities, you can apply the same time tested techniques for writing a book to creating a course for your membership site.
So are you ready to become the author of a new membership course?
The quick answer is Yes 🙂
I guess the logical follow up question would be… Why?
There are a number of reasons (increased community engagement, increased revenue, increased opportunity, etc.) why you should take the time and put forth the effort to develop a course based on your membership niche.
What exactly are these reasons?
There are two primary ways to structure a Modular Course:
- Teach everything live
- Create content in advance and deliver as a home study course
However both have advantages and disadvantages.
I explain both methods in detail during this audio lesson.
Note: A One Page Summary and a full Transcript of the Audio Lesson are also included.
