  1. Deb Augur says:

Your videos are always fun, uplifting and informative. I appreciate that!

Question: How was your town picked for the concert? Did you have to send a request or something? Or was it randomly picked? That’s just so cool!

Have fun, guys! (I’m sure you will.)

On my way to check out the posts / threads…

    Happy Friday.

    • Wray says:

Good to “see” you Deb Augur 🙂

This quick video explains a bit about why Mumford and Sons decided to choose Simcoe, Ontario for one of the Stop Overs.

We are pretty excited as Stu and I both grew up in the area and it’s a pretty small town.

Happy Friday to you as well!

      • Deb Augur says:

Ah! Two members of the band are from there.

What a great video! Looks like a fabulous place to live. I also live in a rural area / small town (but in Washington State). I love the trees, rivers, mountains… you know… the beauty and wonder of nature. (And I’m only an hour away from big cities and the ocean. Best of both worlds.)

        Rock on!

      • Wray says:

@Deb Auger – Actually they aren’t from that town 🙂 The video mentions a person who is a member of a band called “The Band” so it can be a bit confusing 😉

From what I understand, Mumford and Sons like to find small and interesting towns and visit them with a concert. Pretty cool!

I’ve not been to Washington State but have heard it’s beautiful. I used to live in an area that sounds similar. I lived on a “Main Street” surrounded by trees and nature and a short drive away was the city with everything I need.
