Have you ever created a piece of content that you were sure was going to hit home with your audience? And, it turned out to be a dud. In some cases, worse than a dud. It’s frustrating and scary. It can make you question if you’re good enough to do this.
I’ve had this happen more times than I can count. In fact, several times throughout my career, I’ve considered giving up on information marketing all together and just going back to a regular 9 to 5 job.
But, I stuck with it and eventually discovered some dead simple ways to make your content addicting patterned after some of the most successful TV shows ever. In fact, once the patterns are pointed out to you, you’ll see them in almost every show you watch.
And these are tried and true patterns for getting people to anticipate and salivate waiting for your content. They’ll hound you for your content the day it’s supposed to be released. “Is it out yet, is out yet?”
Which means they’ll actually consume the whole thing, learn what you’re teaching them and take aggressive action on it. And your dream of making your living helping others becomes much more of a reality. But, it all starts with good, addictive content.
