What’s been happening this week inside WishList Insider?
A better question may be “has the week been difficult or taxing in any way?”
The short answer is “That was Easy” – watch the video to better understand 🙂
Join our newly reunited co-hosts (see last week’s episode) Faye and Wray as they have a light-hearted disagreement (it was light-hearted, right???) regarding a specific motivational tool…
Translation: Wray makes a poorly thought out decision (repeatedly) and Faye proceeds to turn the tables on the bearded half of our very own dynamic duo.

Unfortunately for most of you, it’s more a case of “when people copy your content” than “if”. When you create new content that appeals to a decent amount of people, chances are someone will copy it and post it to their own websites.
To be honest, in some cases this isn’t such a bad thing. If a popular site copies your article and links back to your site, it could be beneficial to you in the long run. However, you should be aware that it’s happening so you can decide for yourself if you want your content on someone else’s site.

Comments on Posts are a good thing, we all know this. When building a community around your WishList Member site, you want to encourage as many members to leave as many comments as possible so that interactivity will increase and continue.
It can be very beneficial when members engage in conversations with each other (as you all know) and the Comment Length Limiter PlugIn can help with this in a way you may have never thought of.
As they say, there can be “too much of a good thing”. This can apply to comments as well. I’m not referring to the actual number of individual comments, but more the LENGTH of particular comments.

Did you know you can use Amazon’s Kindle to promote and monetize your blog?
It’s a quick process and very easy to do. Read on to discover exactly how this service could benefit you.
Using a “member-only” graphic to brand your posts is a great way to give non-members a “sneek-peek” at the content that is available to them if they become a members.
In the following video, WishList Insider Contributer Betty Walker (the Wise Web Lady) shows you how you can add this feature to your membership website by using the WishList Member API.
In one of my recent article entitled Fun Internet Marketing Sites, I discussed Digg, Metacafe, Faves, Sphinn, and PlugIM.
