How Do I Turn My Thoughts Into Actual Content?

I attended a seminar on how to package thoughts into useful content with Scott Ginsberg at this year’s past BlogWorld.

Some people know Scott as the famous marketer, public speaker, and published author of more than eight books. While others know him as the infamous “Nametag Guy” with the “Scott” nametag worn on his clothing and tattooed on his skin.

Now that he and I’ve got your attention with the (in)famous nametag, I’ll share some thoughts I learned from him on how to turn your thoughts into valuable content along with other valuable tips on promotion.

“I Hate Creating Membership Site Content” – You Don’t Have To!

I hear this from members a lot…

“I Hate Coming up with new ideas for content”

Some people can create content (write articles, produce videos, etc.) for their Membership sites in a matter of moments when they put their mind to it.  No inspiration needed, no coming up with ideas before hand, none of that stuff.

They simply get in front of their computer and produce!  Paragraphs of interesting text and hours of informative video seem to just flow out of these people effortlessly.  Must be nice 🙂

Case in point, the previous paragraph took me 42 minutes and two cans of redbull to write (well, maybe not that long) but you get the idea.

So, what can the rest of us do when it comes time to create some content for our site and nothing immediately comes to mind?

Let’s find out.

Inside The Insider – Episode 31

What’s been happening this week inside WishList Insider?

The WishList Member team are all getting back into the swing of things after returning from WishList Member LIVE in Las Vegas.

We were all able to meet many WishList Insiders in person which was awesome!

That being said, not all of the team returned to where they came from.  Faye hopped a plane for Australia after the event which means we had a co-host seat to fill on iTi.

Luckily, Stu has decided to step in while Faye is away and bring you the news along side iTi veteran Wray for the foreseeable future.

They discuss…

  • The WishList Member LIVE event that just took place in Las Vegas
  • The “Wishie” Award winners are announced!
  • A Request for “Tools of the Year” (This will benefit YOU!)
  • More Exciting Things Planned for WLM in 2011!
