Question On Cancelling Automatic Payments From Paypal

Have you ever wanted to change the payment schedule for your Members, but weren’t exactly sure how to go about it?

Can I Change Unsubscribe Language In Broadcast Emails?

If you have ever found yourself wanting to adjust the Unsubscribe text that appears within the WishList Member broadcast emails, then you’ll likely want to check out this conversation.

A work-around is proposed using the Language Edit feature of WishList Member that may just do the trick for you.

Our team always works towards adding new features to WishList Member, but in the meantime, these types of work-arounds can be just the thing needed for a quick adjustment.

This is another reason why participating in the Forums is beneficial. Out-of-the-box solutions can be considered and discussed.

Exam/Assessment PlugIn

Okay, I’m going to do my best to NOT make this sound like a commercial 🙂

In this Forum thread, an Insider asks about an Exam type plugin that will require a quiz to be taken in order to upgrade Members to the next Membership Level. It just so happens that we developed a Bonus PlugIn in the past called WL Quiz that actually handles that.

The ability to offer a test to your Members in order for them to upgrade is a very effective learning tool.

Retention, Retention and More Retention

I hear this quite a lot.

I’ve also thought about it many times myself. Retaining your members is vital and you can certainly come up with a systematic process to help achieve this, but I believe it goes even deeper than that.

WishList Insider Is Back!

We wanted to let everyone know that we experienced some down time yesterday (February 5th, 2013) due to a hacker.

Needless to say, it was a very eventful time for all of us on the WishList Team 🙂

We have resolved all the issues and we have restored as much as possible from a backup.  We were able to recover most everything except for a small amount of comments and Forum conversations over the course of about one day.  We are sorry about any of these lost Comments.

Again, we’re sorry for any issues this may have caused anyone, but we should be back to normal now.  We have a few more things we are doing behind the scenes as well but WishList Insider should be functioning as normal for you again.

Note that due to the issues caused by the hack, WishList Insider appeared back online for different people at different times based on location.

Thanks to everyone for your patience through this.  We do appreciate everyone being so understanding.  Our team was dealing with a lot to get everything resolved and the Insiders were very supportive!
