Member Bio:
I have a background in directing TV commercials and running a production company. Years ago I was involved in a world first multi-platofrm drama series and was hooked on the internet since then.
Three years ago I sold out of the production company to focus more on on-line and enjoy life in a coastal town.

A Brief Description of LifeDrawingPoses.com by Paul Baiguerra
Life Drawing Poses is actually my wife’s brainchild – she is an artist, and was always wanting to pause films we were watching to draw from when she hit upon this idea. We have developed a lot of sites in WordPress and wanted to stay on the platform we know best so as soon as we started sketching it out I knew we’d be needing WishList Member.
Our aim with the site is to produce the most comprehensive resource for life drawing online. Life Drawing is a fundamental skill for artists yet it can be hard to access classes and models if you don’t live in a major urban area.
Having come from a rural high school my wife was acutely aware of what she had been missing out on in terms of her artistic development once she started studying art at University and was given access to a life drawing class every Friday for a few years.
Life Drawing Poses is a resource for artists who cannot get to a life drawing class or who want access to a model any time, anywhere, on any device. There are over 70 poses filmed as a 360 degree rotation in high definition so for artists it’s a simple case of play, pause, draw.
The site also has a blog with plenty of drawing tips and advice and will soon be launching a special resource section for educational institutions.

Paul…Nice site and very unique. I think you put a great deal of work into that and it shows.
Thanks David – we’ve been doing lots of tweaking and adjustments, a lot of how it looks now has come about from really trying to strip it back to get the core benefit upfront while still getting across the info we need to.
This will no doubt be an on-going process.
Paul,
What a great idea. Perfect example of finding what is missing and filling the need!
Best wishes for you and your wife.

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the site, @Karen.
My brother took a life drawing class and sometimes models wouldn’t show up or he couldn’t make the class time because of his schedule.
This is definitely filling a need.
So I’m hoping you’ve pointed your brother over our way now Wray
I’ll definitely be telling him about the site when I talk to him next
Totally love the idea… It always amazes me the creativity people come up with. I would have never thought of doing a membership site on drawing.
Good Luck, and I’d love to know how it’s coming.
Hey Jason – thank you for your comments about our site
